My Life in a nut shell:
I grew up in a really rough neighborhood inBronx, New York. My parents couldn't afford proper healthcare for our family, as a result of this I was not able to receive the necessary care for my poor vision amongst my other health needs. I was unable to properly read what was written on the chalkboards in school and struggled as a result of this. Honestly my only determination to stay in school was the fact that I had to be the first to graduate high school in my family. I managed to get through school and had great teachers who saw my potential to get through those 4 years.
I focused on basketball as a way to stay out of trouble. As a result of hard work and steady determination
I succeeded in the classroom in order to become eligible for the basketball team. This led me to become an
All-star state player at Christopher Columbus High School and I helped take our team to the state championship during my sophomore year. I have had a love for basketball ever since my father gave me a basketball for my birthday at the age of 8. This love for the game drove me not only to work hard in school but definitely kept me out of “neighborhood trouble”. I watched many other children my age fall into a life

I knew I never wanted for myself.
After high school I went into a typical 9 to 5 job with little or no time for that constant exercise, nutritious meals, or the time for much more than a quick bite at the neighborhood fast food joint on the walk home. My metabolism slowed down and as a result I gained a lot of weight. It took only 2 short years of that lifestyle and I went from weighing 150lbs to 220lbs. The day finally came when I ran into an old friend from high school, I was so overweight and out of shape that my longtime friend had a tough time even recognizing who I was. That was the moment that finally made me wake up and realized that I had to change my ways and get into shape. I knew that if I did not bring major changes into my life now I would struggle with health and weight issues for the rest of my life. The very next day I went and joined a health club which jump started an entirely new world of training, nutrition, and just plain health awareness for me. I chose this major lifestyle change not only for myself but for my daughter as well.
I competed for a year and was picked up by Jarrod Gelling owner of Southern Muscle in Brandon, Florida who started me with the strength and condition training that I needed to get on stage. I started competing in shows outside of Tampa and met IBFF Mark Antonek. Mark was such a great mentor with all his past knowledge of training and competing. I won my first body building award with Mark in 2011. Men's physique started getting popular in the NPC, so I thought I would give it a try and take a break from body building.

I competed in the Hurricane Bay with Tim Gardner and won 4th place! That opened the doors for me to compete at a National level. So I then met IFBB Pro Mark Anthony
who wanted to help me obtain my goals and prepare me for my pro card. I am also a newest member of TeamNEW BREED created by IFBB Pro Mark Anthony. Team NEW BREED represents IFBB Pro Sadik Hadzovic, IFBB Pro Deniz Duygulu and IFBB Pro Collin Humphrey.
I currently own and operate PH7Nutrition in Tampa, Florida located inside Power House Gym- Channelside. I specialize in weight management, with personal training for contests, and prepping with nutrition guidance diet plans and supplements. |
